I am very pleased to announce that we have been granted access to our factory so that we can begin to package and ship the chocolate products that you have ordered in August and September. It has been very frustrating to not be able to ship your orders even though we know that the chocolate and the factory were unaffected by the fire. Starting on Wednesday, September 13, we will be at the factory getting your orders out as fast as we can. We have about 1000 orders to fill so it will take a while and unless there are specific deadlines associated with an event, we will ship them in the order they were received.
I cannot thank you, our loyal customers, enough for your patience. This has been a difficult month for everyone on Maui. Our spirits have been lifted by your support and willingness to wait to receive our chocolate. The Maui community also thanks you for the 25% portion of your purchase that will go toward Maui wildfire relief efforts. We are privileged to be able to support the local community through our business and are grateful for your participation in this mission.
For our Ku‘ia Club members, we still have many of the August gift boxes to ship and will get those out as soon as we can because they are packaged and ready to go. Because we have been unable to make the September chocolate offering, we have rescheduled your October 1st Ku’ia Club charge to November 1st. Your September offering will instead be sent out in October. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

We did the chocolate tasting on our family vacation and it was a major highlight of our trip. Hearing the founder describe the details of their business model (including its philanthropic focus and deep respect for the land), the chocolate industry in general, and how chocolate itself is harvested and processed was fascinating. Their artfully-crafted chocolate is absolutely divine. They put their heart and expertise into it. Their samplers make great gifts (they can carefully ship items so you don't need to worry about melting). A Maui must-see(taste)!

This is a very delightful thing to do in the middle of the afternoon. Quite relaxing. You can let them guide you or just ask for a mixed flight of chocolate. Mix it with your favorite beverage and enjoy doing it without the guided tour is really quite relaxing. You get to go at your own pace, taste and experience as you want.

This was a wonderful surprise. The owner did a great overview of how his chocolate came to be. Never knew there were so many steps. But the chocolate was the star. His flavors were amazing and the went so well with his amazing chocolate. Instead of taking wine to friends house, I will take a tin of chocolate. Best part is you can order on line too. Can't wait to share.
