I first met Robert Mauri, the General Manager of Ghostfish Brewing in Seattle, at the 2022 Northwest Chocolate Festival in Seattle. He was already a fan of our chocolate when I met him, and we had a wonderful conversation at that initial meeting. Robert visited Maui the next month and went on our farm tour. 'Ohana Ku'ia is thrilled that Robert reached out this year in order to host an event to pair Ghostfish Brewing Beer and Maui Ku'ia Estate Chocolate! Below is the event information Robert provided me from their website. If you are in or near Seattle, this sounds like a fun and tasty event that you should NOT miss. :) 

Ghostfish Beer and Chocolate Pairing Event

Do you like beer and chocolate? Have you ever wondered how to pair the two together? Now is your chance. Join us as we partner with Maui, Hawaii based Ku’ia Chocolate for an evening of chocolate, beer, and fun. Learn about what makes chocolate so special and unique, how to taste chocolate and why beer and chocolate are best friends when it comes to putting them together. For this special event, we will taste four Maui Ku’ia Estate chocolate paired with four Ghostfish beers and our own in-house chocolate junkie, Robert, will impart his wisdom about beer and chocolate and regale you with stories of his love for both Ghostfish and Ku’ia.
