Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center is a nonprofit, community-based visual arts education organization located in Makawao, Maui. Our mission is to unlock creativity through exceptional visual arts education and to enhance this endeavor through the preservation of the historic Kaluanui Estate.The Hui provides an array of hands-on programs that support lifelong learning in the arts including art workshops and classes for all ages, presentations, exhibitions, art events, historical house tours, and educational outreach programs with schools and community partner organizations. Fine art exhibitions featuring work of local artists and the historic grounds are open to the public at no charge. The Hui’s professional art studios provide vital space for makers of all ages to learn new skills, hone their craft, connect with fellow creatives, and experience the joy of visual arts engagement.The Hui’s programming impacts over 25,000 people each year. Hui No'eau strives to ensure that everyone has access to quality arts education and that the visual arts are part of our everyday lives!
