Both of these 18 piece chocolate tins feature cacao from unique single origins. The first is our own cacao farm in Lahaina Maui. Our Hawaiian cacao has recently been named top 50 in the Cacao of Excellence competition for the second time. In 2021, we were awarded a Gold Award for the Asia Pacific region. Final award announcements for the current year will be in February. The other dark chocolate is made with direct trade cacao from the Semuliki Forest in Uganda. This dark chocolate was recently named a finalist in the 2024 Good Food Awards.

Part of our kuleana is our responsibility to care for the land we’re on. Sustainable practices are foundational to who we are as a company. Our factory is 100% solar powered by 300 kW of solar panels and a 200 kW standby generator, making it the 2nd largest off-grid commercial facility in Maui. Our goal, between the chocolate factory and the farm, is to have a negative carbon footprint.
