We have been looking forward to sharing our Maui Ku‘ia Estate Chocolate with a wider audience and this week we were beyond excited to hold our first-ever pop-up tastings!
The first was held at the Fairmont Kea Lani on Tuesday July 10, where our team—comprised of Chef Riko, Gunars, Krishna and Charlene (not pictured)—invited hotel guests to sample squares of our 65% Dark, 65% Dark Blood Orange, 60% Dark Milk and 60% Dark Milk Blood Orange chocolate.
Our chocolate caused quite a buzz and we couldn’t have been happier with all the positive feedback we received. The Fairmont Kea Lani is one of our Corporate Partners and the guests who tried the samples were very interested to discover that the Wailea hotel will be carrying the chocolate in the near future and that it will also be available to buy online.
We took our delicious chocolate on the road for a second time on Thursday July 12, this time to another Corporate Partner, the Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Ka‘anapali.
Guests were again invited to sample our chocolate, to share their thoughts on their favorite flavors and to find out more about Maui Ku‘ia Estate Chocolate, our Lahaina factory and giving back to the community with Chocolate Kuleana. It was a big hit and, over the two events, our Dark Chocolate was the most popular choice with 55% of guests selecting it as their favorite!
