Theatre Theatre Maui’s (TTM) primary goal is to provide a full spectrum of hands-on theatre experience for the children and adults of the West Maui community and to cultivate and nurture local artists in the production of their original works. Formed in 1991 in Lahaina by a small group of performing arts enthusiasts, TTM achieved its non-profit status as a 501(c)(3) in 1994. To date, TTM has produced 28 comprehensive summer youth theater programs culminating with live performances led by a team of experienced artists. Over the years programming has expanded to encompass multiple series of after-school theatrical arts classes in partnership with West Maui schools and the Boys and Girls Club. Current programs are being held at the studios of Fuzz Box Productions, TTM’s newest partner, who graciously provides TTM with a needed venue and an added benefit of offering specialized instruction for workshops geared to a wider range and age of students. TTM aims to continue serving our community in the years to come with low-cost and no-cost programs.
